...SOLIDARITY FOR RICH...

As some of you may have heard via online karting news sources, one of the racers in our home state of Colorado was seriously injured in a freak accident during a local race on April 26, 2009. 61-yo Rich Vito sustained very serious head injuries in the accident and is currently stable, but still in a coma in an ICU in Denver. The entire Shockwave Karting family and team would like to extend our greatest well-wishes for the family, and we hope that Rich makes a quick and full recovery. We are planning to do everything we can to help aid him in his recovery: look for t-shirts to be available through our site soon with all proceeds going to Rich and his family, and for Shockwave items in the silent auction to be held at the Rich Vito Indy 500 Fundraiser.
