Shockwave is a team of machinists who started racing karts many years ago.  Starting in clutch karts and later moving to shifters, we purchased many different chassis and parts over the years.  One thing we noticed right off was the overall poor quality of the components.  Axles that weren’t straight, hubs that didn’t slip on axles, wheels that didn’t run true.  It drove us nuts when we knew that we could easily produce better quality components than what we could purchase through traditional kart sources.  Shockwave Karting was born.

After selling our products to a limited market for some time, Shockwave officially began provide these quality products directly to kart racers everywhere in 2001.  The company has rapidly grown into the premier American manufacturer of karting components, offering innovative new designs to improve existing karting technology.  By utilizing a direct from the manufacturer approach, Shockwave offers the kart racer very high quality products at low cost.  In addition, we have assembled an extensive dealer network to make our products even more accessible to karters everywhere while still offering the option to buy directly from the source.

We utilize the best quality American made metals in our products.  We machine   using the newest CNC machining technology available.  We use 3 axis CNC lathes, 4 axis CNC mills and 7 axis CNC Swiss style machines to manufacture every component we sell.  We don’t farm the work out or have some slick marketing arm working for us.  When you call us, you are calling into the shop.  With very little overhead and no distributor taking an increase in the middle, we are passing the savings directly to you.
