Let's face it.  Our sport is inherently damaging to the environment.

But that doesn't mean we need to be irresponsible.  Shockwave Karting is the first in the karting industry to make a dedicated effort to environmental responsibility.  Here's a just few things that we're doing to protect our natural world.

• We recycle all of the paper, plastic, and cardboard that comes through our offices.

• We reclaim and reuse 90% of our cutting oil and machine coolant.

• All of our scrap aluminum and steel is recycled into new material.

• All packaging material is reused or recycled.

• We buy recycled metals made in the USA to reduce resource consumption and fuel use in shipping.

• Your purchase of our American made products reduces fuel use in shipping compared to typical European or Asian made products.

• Our electricity is generated by the largest provider of wind power in the nation.

• We shut down all of our equipment when not in use to minimize energy consumption.

• Employees bike to work rather than drive when possible.
